In 2003, I completed National Diploma in Human Resources Management at Vaal University of Technology. Ever since, I have been working in HRM where I interact with different people every day from different cultural backgrounds and beliefs. There after I realised that I am stacked in one place for a long time without any development and growth; is where I switched to Psychology studies reason being that I love working with people, listening to their life stories while in return I allow them to vent, listen attentively without being judgemental, hold the space, give emotional support and empathy. In 2016, I completed Bachelor of Arts (Health Sciences and Social Services) in Psychological Counselling and I also registered BA Honours in Psychology since 2021 -2022 with University of South Africa, I am in a process of completing and left with one module to graduate. Through Humanitas Counselling training course, I will be able to register with ASCHP professional body and be able to counsel confidently and legally as Wellness Counsellor / Specialist Wellness Counsellor. I am so passionate about helping people more especially about giving to the needy. I often do charity projects, where I donate school shoes, sanitary pads and Food parcels in Churches, Schools and Community at large. Giving taught me a lot about the importance of value for people, especially where there is no family structure, no financial and emotional support and any other aspects of support. I believe this experience will help me to be a blessing to people who are facing life challenges and life stresses they come across. I am a mother of three (3) and being a parent to my kids has taught me a lot to care for others, I would wish one day to be called a mother of the nation through the love, support that I have for people. I am also a Christian, I love God with all my heart and I love serving in church. I am able to speak other languages such as Ndebele, South Sotho, North Sotho, Tswana and English and this will help my clients to explore and speak comfortably with the language they understand most.
