Hello there!

 

My name is Leoné, and I am thrilled to have this opportunity to introduce myself as a counselling intern.

I am fluent in both Afrikaans & English. I obtained an undergraduate degree in Psychology & Sociology, a postgraduate diploma in Management, and an honours degree in Psychology (Cum Laude). When it comes to my approach, I strive to create a collaborative and empowering environment. I believe that clients are the experts of their own lives, and my role is to help navigate and guide them through the challenges, thoughts, and emotions they face in a safe and non-judgemental space. Together, we can explore new perspectives, develop coping strategies, and work towards meaningful change.

 

While I am here to guide and support, I also recognize the importance of self-care and balance. In my free time, you can find me enjoying hobbies like dancing, coffee shop hopping, and binge-watching Netflix series. These activities help me recharge and bring joy into my life, which I believe is essential for maintaining a healthy mindset. 

 

Together, let's embark on a path of self-discovery, healing, and personal growth. Whether seeking guidance for a specific issue or simply looking for someone to talk to, know that you can count on me to be your ally. I am LGBTQI+ friendly.
