Anmar Brand

Hello, my name is Anmar Brand.

I would like to acknowledge how brave you are for having the courage to show up and make your mental health a priority. I know it can be scary or nerve-wracking to open yourself up to a process where you may talk about emotional burdens and life's challenges. I will be there for you by holding the space and listening with an empathic ear to whatever you feel comfortable sharing. Collaboratively, we can then build a safe, authentic, and restorative counselling space. It would be a privilege for me to embark on this empowering journey with you. My top priority will be to support you in finding a healthy perception of yourself so that you may know yourself as peaceful, fulfilled, whole and safe.

My educational background includes an undergraduate degree, majoring in Psychology at Stellenbosch University as well as a BA Honours in Psychology at SACAP in Cape Town. I am currently a devoted counselling intern with Humanitas and am available to you during your counselling process towards personal growth. I am fluent in both Afrikaans and English.
