Desree Molefi

I am Desree Gomolemo Molefi, a Counselling Intern with a BA in Communication Science and Psychology, as well as an Honours degree in Psychology. During the COVID-19 period, I gained experience working at Ngaka Modiri Molema District Office. My academic journey includes completing my Undergraduate and Postgraduate studies at Varsity College Pretoria.

Growing up, I was a quiet and soft child. However, as I continued to mature, I noticed that people felt safe around me and often shared their vulnerabilities, thus I really love working with people. I take pride in being a first time mom as it has taught me patience amongst many other things.

I am deeply passionate about helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges and am committed to making a positive impact in the field of counselling and i'm currently doing free online counselling as an intern with Humanitas Training Centre.
