Hazel Lebaka

My name is Hazel Lebaka married with a family.

I previously worked as a nurse where I had more exposure to individuals who experienced traumatic events.

We live in a society with social issues. People are struggling to deal with mental health and life challenges, is it not overwhelming?. All this motivated my studies. I completed my honours degree in Psychology in 2016 with UNISA. Currently I am a Specialist Wellnes Counsellor Intern under supervision of Vita Nova Humanitas Counseling Centre.

I believe people need to be heard and not judged. They have great potential to resolve their problems if a condusive environment is created for them to express their thoughts and emotions. Remember, " greater is He that is in you than the one who is in the world" 1John 4:4.

Being emphathic caring and calm,I am passionate to facilitate my clients in this journey of dealing with their pain.

My counseling is open to young adults, adults, individuals,couples, marriages, group counseling, grieving and trauma.
