Kayla Dickason

Please be advised that I am not a psychologist, psychiatrist, or registered counsellor under the HPCSA. Instead, I am a Humanitas Counselling Intern, working under the supervision of the Vita Nova Counselling Centre. My services as an intern Wellness Counsellor encompass counselling, providing support, guidance, skills training, and psychoeducation to assist clients in managing their life situations. Should any concerns arise that fall outside my scope of practice, I will refer clients to relevant professionals or organisations who can offer appropriate assistance. 

My name is Kayla Dickason. I have a passion for helping others and believe that listening is often the only thing needed to help someone. I now have a new outlook on what helping looks like and I look forward to creating a safe place with you and collaborating to provide counselling, support, guidance, skills training, and psychoeducation to assist you in managing the situations that you encounter in life. I look forward to hearing from you and the journey that we may embark on!

I completed my Bachelor of Arts in communication and psychology in 2023 and graduated from Varsity College Pretoria in May 2024.
