Kelly van Niekerk

Welcome! My name is Kelly. I believe that in the right space and with compassionate guidance, one is able to navigate life's challenges or inner challenges which is why I am here to provide that space for you. My approach to counselling is person centred and one of guidance and collaboration, where we work together to explore what best suits your needs and well-being. I am dedicated to creating a safe space where you feel that you can be your authentic self. As my client I will support and facilitate you at your own pace, without judgement, thus providing you with a confidential and supportive environment where you can openly explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions. You will always be heard, valued and respected in the space that I provide for you, whilst we navigate through your journey together.

My Qualifications: PGCE [2023]; Postgraduate in Psychology (Honours) [2020]; BA with core disciplines in Psychology & English) [2019]

A little bit about me: After obtaining my Honours in Psychology, I was privileged to work as an Autism Practioner in a special needs centre. Following this, I furthered my studies and obtained my PGCE. I am most passionate about providing counselling services to those who are in need of it. This has always been my long term goal and is why I have journeyed with Humanitas. I look forward to walking your journey with you.
