Marike Van Zyl

My name is Marike and I live in the beautiful Stellenbosch with my husband.

It takes courage to step out into the unknown of the counselling process and share your innermost thoughts and feelings. I hope to create a space where you can quiet your mind and feel safe to share your story and the challenges you face. My heart is to simply listen, support and encourage you. Together we can explore ways of dealing with stressors in your life or that which often overwhelm you and look at your strengths and inner resources. I believe that counselling has the potential to bring about a greater sense of well-being for you to live from a place of rest, more confidently.

I enjoy journeying with people who long to understand themselves better and grow into the person they were made to be and prosper in their relationship with themselves and others and in their calling. My areas of interest are life stressors, self-esteem, identity, relationships, and loss and grief.
